Marathon Weapons Tier List TL;DR
-
S-Tier weapons like Overrun AR, WSTR Combat Shotgun, Bully SMG, and Longshot define the meta because they perform better than alternatives at their corresponding ranges. Overrun AR is the most balanced rifle in the game, WSTR deletes players in tight corridors with absurd DPS, Bully SMG wins almost every close-range duel, and Longshot is great at longer ranges.
-
A-Tier guns such as Hardline PR, Twin Tap HBR, Impact HAR, and V99 Channel Rifle are strong but slightly more situational.
-
B-Tier picks like V00 Zeus RG, Conquest LMG, V22 Volt Thrower, and Misriah 2442 are usable but more niche.
-
C-Tier options, including CE Tactical Sidearm, V11 Punch, and B33 Volley Rifle, struggle to justify a slot. They are playable and sometimes fun, but compared to higher-tier weapons, their damage, consistency, or flexibility just falls short.

S-Tier Weapons

These are the weapons that consistently outperform the rest of the roster. They combine strong damage output with reliability and flexibility.
Overrun AR
Overrun is the gun you can’t possibly hate on - it’s the most balanced and dependable assault rifle in the game. It offers stable recoil, strong mid-range pressure, and reliable time-to-kill. The recoil pattern is satisfying, and the more you invest in its attachments, the exponentially better the gun gets.
WSTR Combat Shotgun
Well, we’re fighting in the tight corridors all the time, and it’s a shotgun, guess what that equates to. DPS is off the charts, great TTK gun, easily S-tier, especially if you’re playing mobile runners - put 2 pellets in your enemy, done, next.
Bully SMG
This is the king of close-range aggression you need when bumping into other players in tight spaces. Fast fire rate, strong hip-fire potential, and incredible TTK close range. If you play aggressively with mobility-based runners, this weapon carries fights all day.
Longshot
Depends on the map and your positioning, but overall, it’s a true long-range threat. It hits hard and punishes poor positioning instantly.
A-Tier Weapons

These weapons are powerful but slightly more situational or require better positioning and aim discipline.
Impact HAR
Very stable assault rifle with consistent mid-range performance. It just lacks the raw edge of S Tier options.
M77 Assault Rifle
Reliable and forgiving. Great for newer players or those who prefer predictable recoil patterns.
Copperhead RF
Close-range SMG that’s exceptionally strong in aggressive movement-heavy builds. Falls off hard if the fight is stretched across a long distance.
Hardline PR
This one is a thing of beauty - a strong, classic, semi-automatic, precision rifle that rewards accuracy due to how high the DPS is. It’s a consistent two-to-three shot elimination at mid-range machine that is absolutely worth running if you like the playstyle.
Twin Tap HBR
Just a great option of a semi-automatic gun with high accuracy and a clean recoil pattern. Actually, the most versatile weapon in the DMR section is due to how great the RPM is.
V99 Channel Rifle
Another reliable sniper-esque weapon with strong, sustained precision. Less burst-focused than Longshot but still dangerous. Every sniper option in this game is decent, and I think we’ll see every loadout running a sniper as the game’s meta unfolds.
BRRT SMG
It goes brr with its very fast fire rate, and it’s very fun to use. Slightly inconsistent damage profile due to its recoil compared to Bully SMG.
Repeater HPR
I love me a repeater, and this gun is all you can ask for from this kind of weapon- it’s accurate and steady, and the gameplay with it feels great. Damage could do better, though, so it’s objectively not an S-tier weapon.
Demolition HMG
Slap a nice mag on that thing and enjoy great TTK. It’s a beautiful weapon in many situations and is a great, reliable gun option, the only drawback is handling, of course.
B-Tier Weapons

Solid choices that perform well when used correctly, but they are not that great compared to the premier tiers.
V00 Zeus RG
Way too risky and unwieldy. Yes, there’s massive burst damage potential with proper timing. In skilled hands, it’s good, but so is every other weapon. Though it’s worth playing for the sound effects, I guess.
Conquest LMG
Apex Legends Devotion vibes are heavy for me with this one, and Conquest shares the strong and weak sides with the aforementioned weapon. It’s a strong area-control and suppression tool with a charge-up mechanic, but would you opt for it with all the alternatives you have? I wouldn’t.
V22 Volt Thrower
Devastating at close to mid-range, but it feels like any other SMG in the game is simply better in what they all do. When it works, it melts targets.
Retaliator LMG
Mag is huge on this thing, but the damage is so underwhelming. It’s a heavy suppressive power due to the mag size, sure, but its abysmal TTK makes it not worth it running over SMGs and ARs in my opinion.
Stryder M1T
Very nice rifle with good mid-range performance and highly controlled fire that is a joy to play. But the competition in the precision department is fierce, and there are other better DPS options.
V66 Lookout
It’s alright, but nothing to write home about. Alternate charge fire is kind of neat, but there are better DPS precision options on the roster. Once again, as with many other weapons in the game, it gives Apex Legends’ Volt gun vibes.
Misriah 2442
It’s effective in close quarters but less consistent than the WSTR shotgun option - TTK is just so much slower. Still, entirely playable and with the right attachments used, it’s a force to reckon with.
Magnum MC
MC for main character i guess, at least compared to other pistols. It’s a good weapon, and with enough attachments, it can perform well across different situations.
C-Tier Weapons
These weapons are usable in niche situations, but you’ll be better off using anything else.
CE Tactical Sidearm
Cmon, you have better guns on you. Or do you? CE is a sidearm, and the emphasis is on the “side”; I don’t even know in which situation you would opt for this weapon.
V11 Punch
It’s your “switching to your secondary is always faster than reloading” weapon. It’s severely lacking in many aspects - damage and RPM are both bad, but killing somebody with it is as satisfying as it gets.
BR33 Volley Rifle
Interesting design and premium gameplay feel, but it has limited practical application compared to other precision rifles.
