Adopt Me Pets Tier List 2026

Adopt Me Pets Tier List

Of course, I treated value as the main factor, but not the only one. A pet can be worth a lot and still feel visually underwhelming, which is not the last thing you should consider. A lower-value pet can also get attention and draw good offers if it has a great design or a loyal fanbase. If you're trading for a Bat Dragon or Giraffe, always check if it's No-Pot - untouched pets cost a significant premium in 2026.

Tier

Pets

S-Tier

Bat Dragon, Shadow Dragon, Giraffe, Frost Dragon, Owl

A-Tier

Parrot, Crow, African Wild Dog, Balloon Unicorn, Giant Panda, Dalmatian, Arctic Reindeer

B-Tier

Cow, Mermicorn, Pelican, Hedgehog, Turtle, Kangaroo, Fairy Bat Dragon, Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon

C-Tier

Crocodile, Lion, Sugar Glider, Blue Dog, Chocolate Chip Bat Dragon, Candy Hare, Fallow Deer, Frost Unicorn

D-Tier

Hot Doggo, Peppermint Penguin, Alley Cat, Goldhorn, Snowball Pet, Highland Cow, Mushroom Friend, Muskrat

I would never rank a pet highly only because a calculator says so - Adopt Me is still a game about collecting pets you like, and sometimes you can get great deals just by offering the good-looking pet, not the most valuable one.

S-Tier Pets

S Tier is for the dream pets in Adopt Me. Everybody wants them - these pets are expensive, rare, and recognizable. Most players know they are looking at a top-tier pet as soon as one appears in a server.

Pet

Why It Ranks Here

Bat Dragon

The best overall value pet and a huge flex

Shadow Dragon

One of the most iconic old legendary pets

Giraffe

Rare, valuable, and still feels like a true dream pet

Frost Dragon

A high-value pet with lasting demand

Owl

Expensive, cute, and always wanted in trades

Giraffe is the S+ pet I actually like the most. It retains huge value throughout years, but it also looks super friendly and unique. If I had to pick one top-tier pet to keep out all the time, Giraffe would be very high on that list.

A-Tier Pets

A-Tier pets are less valuable than the S-Tier ones, but still are excellent trade goals, especially if you’re not a very advanced player. They are not quite at Bat Dragon or Shadow Dragon level, but they are far above normal pets both in value and demand - I wouldn’t complain if I got to get them.

Pet

Why It Ranks Here

Parrot

Old one, but very colorful and rare

Crow

Valuable Farm Egg pet

African Wild Dog

One of the best newer pets

Balloon Unicorn

Expensive, cute, and memorable

Giant Panda

A major collector pet with great demand

Dalmatian

Rare Christmas pet with steady value

Arctic Reindeer

Old limited pet with great cute appeal

African Wild Dog, Balloon Unicorn, and Giant Panda are some of the best pets to watch in 2026. They are relatively new, so you can sometimes lucky trade them for something less rare and valuable.

B-Tier Pets

B-Tier is where the list becomes more interesting. These pets are still valuable, but I also ranked some of them higher because they have better personalities.

Pet

Why It Ranks Here

Cow

One of the most popular cute pets in Adopt Me

Mermicorn

Valuable and visually different from most pets

Pelican

Rarer and more valuable than many players expect

Hedgehog

Old limited pet with great trading power

Turtle

Reliable, popular, and easy to trade

Kangaroo

Classic Aussie Egg legendary

Fairy Bat Dragon

Valuable modern Bat Dragon variant

Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon

Cute, food-themed, and very popular

Mermicorn and Pelican are here because they have solid value and stand out from the usual pet crowd. Mermicorn has a more magical design, so he’s a great addition to a magic-themed skin if you rock one. Pelican is the kind of pet many casual players overlook until they check its value - it’s actually pretty high.

C-Tier Pets

C-Tier pets are still good, since it’s the best pets tier list, not the tier list of all the pets in the game, but these are not always the main target in a serious trade. I’d actually rank some of the pets higher than their value because they are cuter than their value suggests.

Pet

Why It Ranks Here

Crocodile

Old Safari Egg pet with steady demand

Lion

Valuable, but not my favorite design

Sugar Glider

Cute collector pet with good value

Blue Dog

Very old pet with historical value

Chocolate Chip Bat Dragon

Name says it all - a less rare Bat Dragon variant

Candy Hare

A personal favorite with great hot bar energy

Fallow Deer

Not the highest value, but very lovable

Frost Unicorn

Great design and easy to like

Most of the picks are pretty standard, but Fallow Deer and Frost Unicorn are not top-value pets, and made the list because I like them a lot. Fallow Deer has a soft, cute look that works really well in Adopt Me, and Frost Unicorn is one of the prettiest unicorn pets in the game.

D-Tier Pets

D-Tier is not bad. These pets are simply more about personal taste than huge value, but they’re still on the pricy side for sure. I would not build my entire trading strategy around them, but I would still keep many of them because they have something visually appealing about them.

Pet

Why It Ranks Here

Hot Doggo

Funny food-themed pet with great personality

Peppermint Penguin

Cute winter pet with nice details

Alley Cat

Great personal-use pet, especially Neon

Goldhorn

Pretty fantasy pet with loyal fans

Snowball Pet

Simple, cute, and easy to love

Highland Cow

Cute pet with great cozy appeal

Mushroom Friend

One of the better quirky pets

Muskrat

Niche pet with surprising charm

Alley Cat is one of my favorite lower-tier valuable picks. It becomes much better as a Neon, and it has the kind of design I would actually use instead of just keeping for value. You can read how to create Neon pets here.

Best Adopt Me Pets to Trade For in 2026

If I were trading only for value, I would focus on Bat Dragon, Shadow Dragon, Giraffe, Frost Dragon, Owl, Parrot, Crow, African Wild Dog, Balloon Unicorn, and Giant Panda. These pets have the safest high-end demand and are the easiest to recognize in major trades.

If I were trading for pets I would actually enjoy using, my list would look different. I would go for Giraffe, Owl, Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon, Candy Hare, Fallow Deer, Alley Cat, and Mushroom Friend are good pickups too.

That is the main point of this tier list. The best Adopt Me pet is not always the pet with the biggest number attached to it. Sometimes the better pick is the one you actually want to keep out.
