WARDOGS Weapon Tier List

WARDOGS makes every gun purchase matter - a good rifle can win a fight, but repeatedly buying an overpriced loadout can empty your account quickly. In this guide, I ranked the best weapons by stats, price, and actual usefulness in real games.

WARDOGS Weapon Tier List TL;DR

  • FAL has the strongest raw infantry weapon profile, dealing 60 damage at 650 RPM. Its $6,500 price keeps it from being an automatic purchase.

  • T-21 is the best-value weapon. It costs only $600 but delivers 28 damage, full-auto fire, and a competitive 750 RPM.

  • SVD is the best marksman rifle because its two-shot damage and 480 RPM give it better 2 shot follow-up kill potential.

  • Super-45 is the strongest close-range gun, firing 30-damage rounds at 1,200 RPM.

  • Bushmaster M17S is the best free gun choice when saving cash matters more than having good attachments or full-auto fire.

WARDOGS Weapon Tier List

WARDOGS Weapon Tier List

WARDOGS’s economy really makes you weigh every gun you purchase. Since every life requires you to repurchase guns, and your cash carries between matches, you can get punished for bad decisions for several matches in a row.

That changes how the weapons need to be ranked. Time to kill matters, but so do price, effective range, and the amount of money a gun purchase leaves for armor, ammo, and other gear. The official WARDOGS Steam page also makes it clear that team actions generate cash, so sometimes a utility item can generate you more money than a broken gun. Here’s the current meta snapshot:

Tier

Weapons

S-Tier

FAL, T-21, SVD, BMR-308, Super-45

A-Tier

M4, M249 SAW, PKM, Bushmaster M17S, SKS, GGX 18

B-Tier

Galil, AK74, A-91, KH-2002, AMP-9, PP-19 Vityaz, MP5, M500, Deagle

C-Tier

Mosin Nagant, SV98, Scout Rifle TD, MP43, M12G, GGX 17, Judge, M1911, Compound Bow

C-Tier guns are not entirely useless, just very niche. Bolt-action rifles can still reward a clean headshot, but on-paper body-shot TTK calculations make them look terrible and very risky to invest in.

Top 5 Best Weapons in WARDOGS

The top five guns are designed like an actual armory. Instead of filling every top-5 position with expensive battle rifles, I’ve chosen different-purpose guns for different ranges and budgets.

1. FAL -  The Best WARDOGS Weapon

FAL sits at the top because its current damage profile is ridiculously well-rounded. It deals 60 damage per shot and fires at 650 RPM. Against the 100-health target, that produces a two-shot kill with a theoretical 92 ms TTK. It also has full-auto fire and an 800-meter effective range, making it flexible enough for most encounters.

There is one giant catch: the gun costs $6,500. That is almost two-thirds of the starting bankroll even before you count in ammo and utility items. So I can confidently say that It’s a purchase you save for coordinated pushes of a highly contested zone where kill potential is very high and firepower is extremely needed.

2. T-21 - Best Value Weapon in WARDOGS

T-21 is the weapon most players should buy repeatedly; it’s somewhat of an Econ weapon. It deals the same 28 damage as the M4, fires only 50 RPM slower, and costs $2,200 less. The full-auto option also makes it far more forgiving than the free burst and semi-automatic rifles.

Its four-shot modeled TTK is 240 ms before armor, hit location, and missed shots change the result. That number is not spectacular beside the FAL. I think that in a game built around persistent cash accumulation, that consistency is top-tier bang-for-your-buck value.

3. SVD - Best Marksman Rifle in WARDOGS

SVD gives Recon players the best balance of reach and follow-up shot speed. Its 55 damage creates a two-shot body kill with just the basic model. At 480 RPM, the second shot goes off much faster than it does from a bolt-action rifle. The $4,800 cost is high but easier to justify spending than the $6,000 BMR-308. BMR deals five more damage, yet both weapons still need two body hits against the 100hp target. SVD also fires 30 RPM faster. Unless armor breakpoints make the extra damage important, the cheaper rifle is the sensible marksman purchase.

4. Super-45 - Best Close-Range Weapon

Super-45 is built for clearing out buildings and crashing onto players inside a Control Zone. A 1,200 RPM fire rate gives enemies almost no room to recover after the first hit. Its 30 damage is also well above the 22 damage listed for the AMP-9 and MP5.

5. M249 SAW - Best LMG in WARDOGS

M249 SAW has one of the better automatic stat lines that are slightly below the premium rifles. It matches the M4's 28 damage, fires 50 RPM faster, and reaches 700 meters in effective range. Its 7.5 kg weight matters, though. WARDOGS ties weapons into full loadouts, and a heavy support gun is less usable with aggressive movement than an assault rifle. PKM is the heavier-hitting alternative, but M249 offers the friendlier price and faster rate of fire.

Best WARDOGS Weapons by Role

You can use any weapon-role combination you like, but there’s a certain playstyle each class has that certain weapons amplify. For example, support players benefit from sustained fire weapons, and an average Assault player needs a rifle that functions well in both street and interior engagements.

Role

Best Weapon

Cheaper Alternative

Main Reason

Assault

FAL

T-21

FAL dominates direct fights; T-21 protects the bankroll

Medic

Super-45

AMP-9

Fast close-range weapons suit revives and building fights

Support

M249 SAW

Galil

M249 holds lanes; Galil offers a lighter automatic option

Recon

SVD

SKS

Semi-auto follow-up shots are safer than bolt actions

Driver or Pilot

T-21

Bushmaster M17S

Cheap rifles reduce the cost of vehicle-focused lives

This table is a starting point, not a rule. A Medic defending open terrain may get more from the M4 than an SMG. A Recon player fighting around dense buildings should not force a sniper loadout simply because the class name suggests it. Buy for the next fight and the squad's plan.

Best Early Weapon in WARDOGS

Early on, I value the Bushmaster M17S a lot. It’s a better first weapon because it costs nothing. It deals 28 damage at 700 RPM, which matches the basic output of several paid rifles. The missing full-auto option and attachment restrictions keep it out of a general S-Tier, but those weaknesses are very fair when the purchase price is $0.

Once you get familiar with the game, move to the T-21. It is the best early upgrade and leaves most of the starting $10,000 budget intact. A good opening progression looks like this:

  1. Use Bushmaster M17S while learning the game’s ropes.

  2. Buy T-21 when full-auto fire becomes worth the $600 fee.

  3. Add a cheap GGX 17 or M1911 only when a sidearm is genuinely needed.

  4. Try M4 or M249 after the account has a stable cash reserve.

  5. Leave FAL, SVD, and BMR-308 for lives with a clear purpose and the potential of a high payout.

As a closing word, expensive guns do not build cash by themselves. Reviving squadmates, transporting players, and helping control objectives generate income. A modest weapon paired with useful team actions can fund stronger kits later.
