AION 2 Kina Farming TL;DR
-
Finish campaign quests and Duties before starting a farm to get the best amounts possible.
-
Use the Daily Dungeon and Ascension Trial for a consistent weekly income.
-
Spend Odyle Energy on worthwhile Conquest and Transcendence reward cubes.
-
Gather materials whenever you see them during questing or waiting for dungeon queues.
-
Sell materials and consumables only after checking the current Market margin.
-
Avoid enhancing temporary leveling gear because fees become expensive quickly for a very small return.

What Is Kina in AION 2?
Kina is the main currency used across AION 2. The Global client calls it Kina, while many players still use Kinah, the name inherited from the original AION. You need it for lots of things:
-
gear enhancement
-
crafting fees
-
NPC vendor purchases
-
equipment maintenance
-
player Market purchases.
The game may also distinguish regular Kina from the Kina(bound) currency version. The bound version cannot be used to interact with other players or send to your alts.
Best Ways to Farm Kina in AION 2
There is no single activity that stays best throughout the entire game. Campaign rewards are the greatest way to get money while leveling, repeatable activities take over in the midgame, and efficient dungeon cubes plus the Market flipping get more important at the level cap. The best way to get money is to clear limited guaranteed sources first and use open-world farming only to fill the spare time.

Daily Dungeon
The Daily Dungeon unlocks at level 30 and provides a dependable source of Kina and enhancement materials. Despite the name, its attempts are managed as a weekly pool in the current Global structure, and that’s great because missing one day is not the end of the world. Make sure to push the best score your character can achieve comfortably, then use tickets when the saved result is worth repeating.
Ascension Trial
Ascension Trial is a weekly activity that does not consume Odyle Energy. Its rewards include Kina and enhancement materials, making it basically mandatory to complete.
Expedition Conquest and Transcendence
Conquest and Transcendence become the strongest combined progression farms once the character reaches endgame. The final cube can contain Kina alongside gear, materials, or Arcana, but opening it consumes Odyle Energy. That means the real question is which reward cubes deserve the limited energy.
For Conquest, current Global dungeon progression includes Krao Cave, Urugugu Canyon, and Vakron Sky Island. Farm the highest tier you can clear quickly; Transcendence follows the same logic, although Arcana value makes its cubes especially attractive for long-term progression.
|
Activity |
Farm It For |
|---|---|
|
Krao Cave Conquest |
Early endgame gear, materials, and Kina |
|
Urugugu Canyon Conquest |
Better rewards |
|
Vakron Sky Island Conquest |
Higher-end launch progression |
|
Transcendence |
Arcana, materials, and Kina |
Exploration difficulty is very useful while leveling and learning mechanics, but I would not burn Odyle there after unlocking profitable Conquest runs. Save the resource for cubes that advance both the character power and your bank balance at the same time. Here are the rewards you can get from each dungeon:
|
Conquest Dungeon |
Guaranteed Kina |
Odyle Energy |
|---|---|---|
|
Krao Cave |
70,000 |
40 |
|
100,000 |
40 |
|
|
Vakron Sky Island |
100,000 |
40 |
Odyle regenerates at 15 Energy every three hours, summing up to 120 per day or 840 across a full week. That is enough for 21, which will get you approximately 1.5 million Kina from Krao Cave or 2.1 million Kina from Urugugu and Vakron, even before you count it the sellable drops.
Gathering and Crafting
Gathering is the safest Market-based farm because the main investment is your time. You mostly just pick up mats that sit along your way as you explore the way, but you can also do dedicated gathering routes. Raw materials sell exceptionally well during the first weeks of updates because every profession needs them. Later on, the demand shifts toward refined components and already crafted items. It can be tricky to turn a profit from crafting, though; you have to find a currently uncontested market niche to get decent money.
The Global version uses the Market as its controlled player-trading hub, and an active Membership is required to sell anything. Players without a Membership should still gather and craft for personal progression, but they should not build an entire route around Market revenue they cannot collect.
I can’t agree with the common advice to prioritize gathering before everything else. Gathering is excellent supplemental income, but it only becomes a proper Kina farm when the materials sell well, and the character has Market access. If prices collapse or Membership is inactive, that same route produces barely usable crafting stock that’s hard to move.
Field Kina Cap and Alt Farming
Besides the Membership requirement and unstable market prices, open-world farming has another limitation to watch. The Korean and Taiwanese services currently apply a 1,000,000 Kina daily field-hunting cap per character. Once a character reaches it, normal field monsters stop dropping items as well as Kina.
All of your characters have their own cap, meaning ALTs are useful because of this system. Each character has separate field progress, Odyle Energy, and eligible character-based dungeon claims. Transferable Kina, mats, and tradeable drops can all be sent to your main through shared storage, and the bound rewards remain stuck on the character that earned them. So, if you’re competitive about the game, you’re bound to have at least a couple of characters capable of farming high-level content.
Daily and Weekly Kina Checklist

The game is designed in a way that rewards completing daily and weekly goals specifically. If Kina farming is your goal, daily play should get the rotating objectives and efficient dungeon cubes done. The weekly planning should also make sure none of the limited activities are wasted:
|

|

|
Weekly |

|

|

|

Replace weak farms with better unlocked content |
You can complete five Duties per day across the server. Level 45 Duties pay around 50,000 Kina, which sums up to 250,000 per day or 1.75 million per week, but the amounts can change. Weak Duties can be rerolled, but the reroll price increases after each refresh. So reroll for a genuinely better reward, not simply because one objective takes a few extra minutes.
If a Duty sends you far away for a mediocre reward, skip it and continue with content that actually gets you decent stuff. If you complete the Duties and Conquest each week, you can expect to make around 3 to 4 million Kina before counting in any other income sources.
How to Stop Wasting Kina
Trust me, saving currency is easier than farming it back. The biggest early mistake is enhancing every item you get just because there’s a button that allows it. Leveling gear has a short lifespan, and repeated fees quietly consume the entire campaign wallet.
-
Enhance equipment you expect to keep, not every temporary upgrade.
-
Compare crafting costs with the finished Market price.
-
Keep a reserve for repairs, consumables, and mandatory progression fees.
-
Avoid speculative Market purchases during unstable launch prices.
-
Sell surplus materials before they lose value, but keep items needed soon.
-
Do not spend Odyle on weak cubes simply to empty the resource bar.
