Fortnite has several rumored 2026 collabs, including Krypto, Avatar Wave 2, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, The Boys, and Masters of the Universe.
Krypto and Avatar have the strongest release windows because Supergirl and Avatar Season 2 launch in late June 2026.

Unreleased Fortnite Collabs Coming in 2026

Historically, most of the leaked collabs are coming into the game sooner or later. If some specific franchise name starts coming up in the community posts, that means there is some form of confirmation in the game files or social media posts. However, some of them can get canceled at the last minute, so take this list with a pinch of salt:

Krypto Sidekick / Supergirl	The new Supergirl movie releases in theaters on June 26, 2026. Krypto is part of the plot, so this is one of the best tie-in windows.	Most likely, it’ll be a Superdog sidekick drop first. A larger DC shop wave is possible, but not confirmed; although we have gotten a steady stream of DC character skins in the last few years, so it’s definitely possible.
Avatar: The Last Airbender Wave 2	Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 premieres on June 25, 2026.	Could be a normal Item Shop wave, UEFN content, or both. The timing makes sense, and we still have a lot of Avatar characters that didn’t make the list in the previous shop drops.
Kingdom Hearts	No official Kingdom Hearts IV release date has been confirmed. Some rumors point to 2026, but that remains separate from Fortnite.	A big Disney/Square Enix crossover with Fortnite would be huge, especially among the more mature Fortnite audience. The Kingdom Hearts name has been circulating in the leaks for more than a year now, so it’s probably going to happen one day.
Sonic the Hedgehog	Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is scheduled for March 19, 2027, so the collab is kind of premature, yet still possible.	Could include Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, or themed cosmetics, but details are still vague. Could be just a sidekick wave.
The Boys	The Boys Season 5 ended on May 20, 2026, so the promo wave is kind of gone.	I don’t know how to feel about this leak - if it’s real, it should’ve happened when the last season of the show was airing. However, everything is possible; we had collab waves with even worse timing in the past.
Stitch Sidekick	No tie-in whatsoever. It fits Fortnite’s newer Sidekick cosmetic push.	Most likely a Disney Sidekick companion rather than a full Lilo & Stitch skin wave.
iShowSpeed Wave 2	Creator-focused collab	Likely an emote, locker bundle, or second Icon-style cosmetic wave - the first one was a huge success.
WWE Finn Balor	Could align with a WWE premium live event or a shop rotation.	Finn Balor's outfit with a Demon King alternate style has a very iconic and distinct look and could sell well even with players not interested in WWE whatsoever.
Masters of the Universe	The live-action Masters of the Universe movie releases on June 5, 2026.	He-Man and Skeletor would be the likely headliners if this rumor becomes real. CoD had a Masters of the Universe collab in the past, and we had a bunch of CoD collabs rerunning in Fortnite.
Minecraft	Just a rumor	Minecraft collab would be massive, but licensing and art style questions make it hard to predict. At least a pickaxe and a sidekick would be super easy to implement without affecting the gameplay.
Fallout	Fallout Season 2 finished on February 4, 2026, so the strongest TV-related release window has already passed.	We’ve already got an iconic Fallout armor, but there are a few characters that would make huge waves if released in the Fortnite shop. Could happen due to Fallout’s gaming popularity, but this is a lower-confidence rumor for now since the show is on hold for now.
Crash Bandicoot	Not tied to anything yet.	Crash would look good with fortnite guns in his hands, but there’s nothing concrete about his appearance being scheduled.
Chainsaw Man	The second season of the show is rumored to be released late 2026 or early 2027	The franchise name was in the leaks a long time ago, then marked as canceled, then reappeared again. Could be a cool lineup of skins if they go with Reze and Power.

Once again, these collabs are not confirmed and could never get released. For example, I was waiting for Yakuza and Persona collabs after hearing rumors years ago, and they’re still not released in any capacity.

Released Fortnite Collabs in 2026

Several collabs that were once leaked are already out in 2026. You can see a pattern here and get a general idea of what to expect from the upcoming releases.

Game of Thrones	We got a wave consisting of Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and the Night King sort of randomly, with no major show releases tied to the collab. The skins were leaked a couple of weeks prior on Reddit and X.
Rick & Morty Wave 3	Rick Prime released on March 7, 2026, with the Rick and Morty entire shop section returning around that period. These were leaked a week or so prior.
Looney Tunes	Leakers knew that Looney Tunes-related skins were coming months before the release. And indeed, Bugs Bunny arrived with Chapter 7 Season 2 battle pass content, while Lola Bunny and Daffy Duck were later added through the Item Shop.
PEAK	This was part of the early 2026 leak list and was later released in-game with a great customizable skin.
PUMA	PUMA Kicks became available in the Fortnite Item Shop, with cult pairs like Speedcat and Palermo sold as shoe cosmetics.
NINJAGO Wave 2	First wave was super cool with great emotes and skins, and Epic already confirmed that LEGO Fortnite Odyssey’s NINJAGO story would continue in a second 2026 update.
Toy Story	Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg hit the shop in April 2026, alongside Toy Story cosmetics like the Alien Sidekick and Pizza Planet vehicle content. This also works as early hype for Toy Story 5, which opens June 19, 2026. I got kind of bummed out on this since Woody was not part of the wave.
Ben 10	Ben Tennyson and Gwen Tennyson arrived in April 2026, after Fortnite teased the crossover through official channels. And even before that, leaker channels on Reddit posted the news about this collab being in the works.
Overwatch	Tracer, Mercy, Genji, and D.Va joined Fortnite on May 14 as part of Chapter 7 Season 2 Act III. This collab was known to be coming for several months before the release itself.
The Mandalorian and Grogu / Star Wars	Fortnite launched Star Wars islands and a Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island ahead of the film’s May 22, 2026 release. The Mandalorian Pen & Ink Outfit and BDX Droid Sidekick were also scheduled for May, with the skin being a great way for newer players to get a Mando skin if they missed the OG battle pass one.
007 / James Bond	The Aston Martin DB5 content is tied to 007 First Light through Epic’s Fortnite reward program.
Cyberpunk 2077	We got the Adam Smasher Outfit and Shoulder Cannon Back Bling as Fortnite rewards for eligible Cyberpunk 2077 purchases. Considering that Cyberpunk runs on sale on EGS all the time, it might be a good idea to grab it just to get the free skin in Fortnite.
LEGO Batman	Epic grants players Golden Batarang Knucks Pickaxe, and Bricks and Batarangs Loading Screen for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight purchases. Leaks about this year’s games rewarding free skins for purchases on EGS were circulating around on Reddit and X for a long time, and now they’re basically confirmed.
Crimson Desert	Epic revealed the Kliff Outfit as a Fortnite reward for Crimson Desert purchases on EGS.
Cronos: The New Dawn	Traveler Outfit is a Fortnite reward for eligible Cronos: The New Dawn purchases. This one’s especially good-looking to me, and these freebies make it tempting to buy the game on EGS. Glad they’re doing this customer loyalty program essentially.
Bloons TD 6	You can get a Dart Monkey Sidekick as a Fortnite reward tied to a Bloons TD 6 purchase on EGS.
Resident Evil Requiem	You can get a Grace Ashcroft Outfit for free on Fortnite just for buying the game.
Honkai: Star Rail	Epic gifts the Stellaron Hunter Blade Outfit as a Fortnite reward for Honkai: Star Rail purchases.

Why So Many Fortnite Collabs Are Happening in 2026

Fortnite has been struggling with player retention in recent years, and they’ve clearly decided to double down on collab skins and features as the main draw of the game. Here’s what types of Fortnite collabs you might expect to happen:
