1. Grow a Garden

Grow a Garden is probably the best example of a simple concept being made into a good and feature-rich game. It’s a genre that many players like - a cute, cozy farming simulator where you slowly collect pets, grow crops, and upgrade your lot. I remember these types of games popping off during the early PC gaming era, and the formula still works just fine. The game is constantly updated, filled with exciting stuff for you to chase, and has a nice community to engage with.
Speaking of community, the game is extremely popular with hundreds of thousands of active daily players. Roblox’s 2025 Replay article called Grow a Garden one of the year’s record-breaking experiences, and I’m certain it’s not going to leave the spotlight anytime soon.
2. Dress To Impress

Once again, a simple formula that’s been refined over the years of the game’s existence. If you care about the dress-up genre, I strongly encourage you to play this one. It’s super fun to play solo, and it gets so much better if you have a Roblox friend group to play with. The entire game loop is based around assembling fits, comparing them with other players in a PvP fashion, and simply to show your style sense off.
If you’re new to the genre, I think you should absolutely try it, even if you think that you don’t care about fashion much; the competitive aspect of the game makes you crave going on the podium again and again.
3. Blox Fruits

Blox Fruits is a huge hit, and there are so many reasons that make me think it deserves it. It’s based on the anime lore, but even if you haven’t watched any anime where the main character gradually grows in power, the sheer power fantasy could get you absolutely captivated for hundreds of hours. Animations are excessively cool, there are many weapons and powers for you to combine and collect, and the core gameplay loop is as simple as it is enthralling.
The game has an interesting design where a constant Pirate-Bounty Hunter dynamic takes place, and players are incentivized to attack each other all the time, making each session unpredictable and sometimes extremely funny. Game makes a giant splash in the scene, drawing millions of players in, and the playerbase stays strong with devs delivering consistent updates and reworks to older mechanics. If you want an MMORPG experience to play solo or with friends for hundreds of hours, Blox Fruits is the place to go.
4. Brookhaven RP

Brookhaven RP often stays at the very top of online charts, and there are several good reasons as to why. It’s essentially a life sim, where you can own houses, drive vehicles, and roleplay with others, with a big emphasis on roleplay. You earn money in this game, host parties, and get to know new people, and that’s where I think this game struck gold.
Brookhaven does not bury people in tutorials or force them into rigid objectives - you’re in this sandbox experience with other people, and that’s a perfect formula for forming new friendships and always having a reason to log in - often times in the form of a friend DMing you.
5. Fisch

That’s sort of a niche pick that I’d want you to play. This is, as evident from the name, a fishing game built around exploration, hunting for rare fish, upgrading your gear, and scenic oceanic biomes. Whenever you want to play something relaxing and focus on simple stuff like discovery, collection, and improvement, Fisch is the game to go to.
That design sort of goes against the grain, which actually makes it a strong counterweight to popular games like Rivals or Murder Mystery 2. When I checked, Roblox search results for the official page showed about 34,000 active players, more than 3.2 million favorites, and 4.3 billion visits, so it’s not like you’re going to be playing completely alone, far from it. There’s always something to log in for and relax while grinding.
6. Rivals

Rivals is a complete 1st person shooter that excels at what it does. Contrary to many standalone titles, Rivals wastes very little of your time. You load in near instantly, fight, and queue again with next to no downtime. That shorter, cleaner loop makes it easier to recommend than older Roblox shooters that ask for more patience before the action starts.
There are tons of weapons to unlock, loot boxes to open, cosmetics to collect, ranks to get - and that richness attracts cracked players willing to play a real serious shooter game. Rivals boasts one of the largest and most dedicated player bases on the platform, with 200-300k players playing simultaneously daily. The game is constantly developed and upgraded, so you won’t run out of content, probably ever. Skill expression is a huge part of the game, with players always trying their best to improve, so if that’s something you like, Rivals is the game to play.
7. Doors

Doors remains one of Roblox’s best horror games for years on end because it understands how to build tension better than most games on the platform. Doors is not just about cheap jump scares; it makes you learn door patterns, read danger, and anticipate caveats at every step you take. I like the game because it can be both a harrowing experience when playing alone and an absolute blast when playing with friends.
I think you won’t have any trouble finding people to play Doors with. The player base is still massive, even though it dipped a little, but it’s still one of the platform’s best. If you want a memorable experience to play, Doors is the one you should try.
8. Adopt Me!

Adopt Me! is a social roleplay simulator centered on collecting legendary pets, trading with friends and strangers, and building your dream home. That way, you get several playstyles to choose from:
-
Some players focus on collecting
-
A lot of players care most about trading
-
Some want to decorate their home and roleplay
-
Others just want a game that feels cozy, friendly and easy to visit every day
The game has giant online numbers even by Roblox standards - even the wiki tells the same thing. People keep playing Adopt Me! because it is one of the best examples of shaping Roblox as a living, breathing, largely player-driven social hobby space.
9. Murder Mystery 2

It’s crazy to think about how long some of the games have been around, and Murder Mystery 2 is one of these OGs. It’s still one of Roblox’s biggest games, and it stays relevant because it combines a fun experience with social and even psychological aspects.
It splits players into three: innocents run and hide, the sheriff tries to stop the murderer, and the murderer hunts everyone else. That structure has lasted for years because every round produces suspicion, bluffing, panic, and, most importantly, extremely funny moments. It is one of the most replayable formats on Roblox because the rules are simple, but every game plays out differently. Player count is massive, and replayability is infinite, 100% a must-play Roblox game IMO.
10. Piggy

If you’re looking for a tense Roblox game to play with friends, I’m convinced that Piggy is the one. It was received extremely well when it was first released, and stayed in the top 10 most-played Roblox games for many years.
In this game, you escape the Piggy and uncover the mystery surrounding the beast. The game mixes chase horror, puzzle solving, and added co-op tension, giving the game broad appeal, and that blueprint still works to this day. The active count is lower than in other games on the list, but there are still tens of thousands of players playing daily.
