Brawl Stars Hypercharge Tier List TL;DR
-
Starr Nova has one of the craziest Hypercharges in the game right now.
-
Mortis, Gale, Bibi, Crow, and Colette have Hypercharges that can straight-up decide a fight when you get the timing right.
-
Surge is up there even after his June nerfs.
-
Do not confuse a strong Brawler with a strong Hypercharge. Gene and Belle are perfectly playable while their Hypercharge effects are whatever.
-
Modes you play change the rankings a lot.

Brawl Stars Best Hypercharges Tier List 2026

Hypercharges have pretty much become a mandatory part of a maxed Brawler’s kit. Once you hit Power Level 11, not having a Hypercharge unlocked can put you at a noticeable disadvantage against somebody running the same Brawler fully built. Not all of them are not equally worth the 5,000 Coins, though. A good Hypercharge can flip a whole teamfight or give a Brawler an engage they normally could not attempt. A bad one sometimes feels like you paid five grand for the stat boost and a slightly different Super. I am ranking the whole package in this tier list: how strong the Hypercharged Super is, but you have to remember that a busted Brawler does not automatically have a busted Hypercharge. Belle is a good example of that.

C-Tier hypercharges are not worth the investment; I would personally try to hold out until the free drop with them. They still help, sure, and the buffs themselves are obviously useful, but their Super effects are hard to justify over spending the same 5,000 Coins on upgrading any other Brawler.
Best Hypercharges in Brawl Stars Explained
Starr Nova has one of those Hypercharges where you know it’s bonkers just by description alone. During the Hypercharged Super, she becomes invulnerable while dashing and gets almost unlimited ammo. That means you can commit far harder than normal without any risk whatsoever. Supercell did nerf her regular attack damage after release, but kept her Super charge requirements roughly the same.
The ammo increase is what really sends it over the edge for me. A lot of Hypercharges give you one upgraded Super and then you go back to normal. Starr Nova gets a whole window where she can keep attacking while the movement and invulnerability make her miserable to punish.
Mortis' whole thing is that he wants to hit several enemies with one Super. His Hypercharge goes all in on exactly that playstyle and makes the healing-damage loop way harder to stop. A well-aimed Hypercharged Super can run through the enemy team and come back through them again. That gives Mortis another round of damage while pumping his health back up, which is usually the difference between dying and continuing dashing through the rest of the team.
Gale's Hypercharge can make what is already probably the best disengage Super in the game completely overpowered. The extra Hypercharged damage lets him shove enemies around much more aggressively and can turn a clustered team into free multikill. I especially like it in Brawl Ball and Hot Zone. In these modes, breaking everybody's positioning for a couple of seconds is enough to score or lock the zone.
Bibi's Hypercharged bubble splits after hitting a Brawler, which gets off insane damage very quickly in small spaces. Normally, an enemy can evade the first bubble and reposition. With Out of Bounds, one connection suddenly produces multiple projectile angles and another set of things they have to dodge. Put that into Brawl Ball or a tight Hot Zone map and it becomes absolute pinball nonsense. The 2026 Buffie update made her Hypercharge window nastier by shortening the windup on her main attack while Hypercharged, making it even stronger.
Crow’s Hypercharge takes the exact thing his Super already does and turns the violence knob all the way up. His Hypercharged daggers return after reaching their maximum distance, so anyone caught close to the landing can eat damage from both waves. In Heist, that interaction gets especially disgusting because you can land your daggers directly on the Safe and dump ridiculous damage into it in a blink of an eye. The downside is that you still need to charge the thing, which takes quite a lot of time.
Colette is the poster child for whether a Hypercharge is worth the investment or not depending on the mode you play. In a normal 3v3 fight, Teen Spirit is already great. The extra spirit follows her Super path and repeats the damage, giving her much more finishing potential against Brawlers who would normally survive the first damage tick. In Heist, you send the Hypercharged Super through the Safe and watch the health bar evaporate. That single interaction is enough for me to put her hypercharge in S-Tier even though there are more universally useful Hypercharges. If you’re a Heist enjoyer, Colette's is one of the first I would buy.
Leon being able to attack from invisibility is extra busted. His normal Super is already strong, but the Hypercharge turns it into an assassination window because enemies cannot even see you. Instead of walking up invisible, dumping one burst, and hoping the target dies, you get room to keep the fight going.
Max's Hypercharge is cracked because Brawl Stars is a team game and she leans into that - her Buffied Hypercharge can charge Max and nearby allies' Supers when Faster Blaster connects. That means one good activation starts feeding the next round of abilities and makes your whole team run around at stupid speed.
Rico's Hypercharge is exactly what Rico mains wanted: even more ricochets. Trick Shot King makes his Super projectiles bounce farther. That sounds simple, but extra bounce distance matters a ton on the maps where Rico is already picked because it extends the ridiculous angles he can cover.
S-Tier Hypercharges Worth Buying
Besides the undisputed best ones, there are other S- and A-Tier Hyperchargers I’m sure you won’t be sorry about buying:
-
8-Bit's Aimbot turns his Damage Booster into something that can fire back at enemies. Hypercharge Buffie makes it gross: 8-Bit gets infinite ammo during the Hypercharge and can interrupt one attack by starting another. Supercell reduced his Hypercharge charge rate by 15% in June, which I think is easily justified.
-
Nita gets a much more threatening Bruce with her Hypercharge, and the 2026 Buffie upgrades her own attacks while she is Hypercharged as well. Nita can already cycle Supers quickly when Bruce connects with his attacks, so one successful push has a tendency of turning into another.
-
Bull loves any effect that makes rushing in less dangerous. His Buffied Hypercharge changes his main attack so it pierces enemies, although Supercell has already nerfed his Hypercharge rate and ranged damage profile after he became too oppressive.
-
Draco gets exactly what a tanky dive Brawler wants from his Hypercharge: an even stronger period where running at the enemy team is suddenly a reasonable strategic decision.
-
Chester benefits because Hypercharge lines up perfectly with his whole random-Super chaos. He is not as predictable as something like Colette, but the payoff is huge when the correct Super comes together with the activation.
-
Bolt is the newest S-Tier pick on my list. Bowling Bolt destroys every wall while his Hypercharged Super is active. Opening that much terrain in one go can completely rewrite a map, and Bolt currently sits at the top of several live Ranked and mode-based stat tables.
Best Hypercharges to Buy First

Coins are the limiting factor, so you obviously want to buy the best Hypercharges possible. Start with the character you play the most; afterward, just refer to this priority list:
-
Surge
-
Gale
-
Rico
-
Max
-
Colette
-
Nita
-
Bibi
-
Mortis
-
Crow
-
Leon
Starr Nova and Bolt would jump straight into that top 10 if you enjoy playing them. I leave newer Brawlers out of a generic purchase order because there is no point telling everyone to spend resources on a character they may not even have built yet.
