Best Fortnite Sprites Tier List
Here is my current ranking for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. This is a completely new Sprite generation, so Zero Point, Demon, Boss, Grim Reaper, Striker, and the other Runners Sprites are no longer part of the active Battle Royale pool. They remain available for display in Sprite Garden.

The strongest Sprites provide value before and during fights. Shadow reduces reload downtime, Sonic improves every rotation, and Jackrabbit creates movement options unavailable to ordinary players. I place Klombo lower despite its Mythic rarity because its rewards are random and it only levels through Health or Shield consumables. Crown is even more specialized. It grants extra Crown Wins after a Victory Royale but does not help you secure that win. Now let us go over the S- and A-Tier Sprites in detail.
S- and A-Tier Fortnite Sprites
Shadow Sprite
Shadow Sprite is my best overall combat pick. It automatically reloads your weapons over time, including weapons you are not currently holding. In an extended fight, you can swap to a loaded secondary weapon instead of stopping to reload under pressure.
The ability works in Builds and Zero Build and does not require an elimination, healing item, or specific terrain. That reliability is why Shadow belongs at the top. It is an Epic Sprite associated with Green Hill Zone and can also appear from Purple Cheat Code Chests.
Sonic Sprite
Sonic Sprite increases sprint speed, with the bonus improving as the Sprite levels. Movement speed helps during every stage of a match, whether you are leaving the Storm, closing distance, escaping a bad fight, or shortening a farming route.
Sonic is also easy to add to your collection because the GottaGoFast Lobby Hack unlocks a Cheat Master version. Cheat Master variants let you bypass the directional-input puzzle when opening Cheat Code Chests, giving Sonic direct farming value beyond its passive ability.
Jackrabbit Sprite
Jackrabbit Sprite grants another jump while you are already airborne. The cooldown decreases as it levels, making it increasingly useful for taking height, crossing awkward terrain, avoiding shots, and changing direction during close-range fights.
It is the only Legendary launch Sprite and normally comes from Gold Cheat Code Chests. That makes it harder to find and resummon than the Epics, but the extra movement option is strong enough to justify S-Tier.
Adventure Sprite
Adventure Sprite upgrades a random item in your inventory whenever it gains a level. Starting with it early can gradually turn an average loadout into a much stronger one without requiring a special Chest or Override.
It is the best Rare starter Sprite for full-match value. You can select it before playing, find it through Blue Cheat Code Chests, or unlock its Cheat Master version with the Born2Play Lobby Hack. Random targeting keeps it below S-Tier, but the cumulative value is excellent.
Jonesy Sprite
Jonesy Sprite restores some Health or Shield after a short delay when you take damage. It is less explosive than the old Demon siphon effect, but it provides dependable sustain without requiring an elimination.
The delayed recovery is most useful between engagements or after escaping behind cover. Jonesy is another Rare starter option, and its Cheat Master variant can be unlocked through the Play4All Lobby Hack.
Killswitch Sprite
Killswitch Sprite activates Hangtime with improved accuracy. It is built for aggressive players who frequently jump, fall, or fight around height changes. Better airborne accuracy can help finish duels before the opponent resets.
Its value depends more heavily on mechanical play than Shadow or Sonic, so it sits in A-Tier instead of S-Tier. Killswitch can appear around the Island at night and through Purple Cheat Code Chests.
How to Find the Best Sprites
Override uses Cheat Code Chests as its primary farming system. Find a Cheat Code Injector on a wall, floor, or other surface, enter the displayed directional sequence, and open the resulting Chest for a guaranteed Sprite. Use this priority order:

Redeem Lobby Hack codes for free Cheat Master Sprites before farming.

Open Purple Cheat Code Chests for Shadow, Sonic, Tails, or Killswitch.

Open Gold Cheat Code Chests for Jackrabbit.

Use Blue Cheat Code Chests for 8-Bit, Adventure, Bush, and Jonesy.

Open ordinary Chests for their smaller Sprite chance.

Eliminate players carrying missing Sprites or special variants.

Win a match to obtain Crown, and search broadly for the very rare Klombo.
Cheat Code color determines its reward tier. Blue gives a Rare, Purple gives an Epic, and Gold gives a Legendary. Equip any Cheat Master variant to skip the arrow sequence and open these Chests faster.
The old Mastery Monday schedule is no longer active. Season 4 uses rotating weekly activities and Power Hours announced through in-game notices and official Fortnite channels. Farm during an event featuring the rarity or variant you need, but verify the current schedule instead of assuming every Monday has the old bonuses.

Move any new Gold or Cheat Master variant above an ordinary duplicate. Special variants are harder to replace, and Cheat Master Sprites make future farming faster by removing the directional-input puzzle. Tails, 8-Bit, and Klombo are still worth extracting when missing from your collection. Bush is mainly useful for stealth-focused players. Crown should be prioritized for collection completion and Crown grinding rather than immediate combat power. Do not let collection anxiety stop you from using the Sprites you earn. Sprite Dust exists specifically so collected companions can be summoned again, although the price depends on rarity, current level, and variant.
