Fortnite Love and Legends 2025 Start Date and Roadmap

A structured roadmap is not something we often see for Fortnite’s events, and it signifies the scale of Love and Legends. Each week introduces something new, so the experience will stay fresh across the whole event. Fortnite’s Love and Legends start date is February 5th, and here’s how the event will unfold:
|

Event Update |

|
Early February |
Free rewards begin, and themed items appear in matches |
|
February 7 |
Battle Royale Power Hour sessions |
|
February 13 |

These phases create the layered structure, with each part of the event stacking on top of the other. The scheduled nature of the event encourages players to check in regularly because certain things, be it Power Hour’s bonus XP, login rewards, or story releases, are time-restricted.
Fortnite Valentine Event 2026 Overview
The Fortnite Valentine event in 2026 is as big as Fortnitemares or Winterfest. Spanning almost a whole month, Love and Legends is stacked with content, which is layered on top of the current Fortnite chapter. Loot pool is completely changed, new cosmetics hit the shop in a short while, and generous XP and cosmetics rewards are spread over a month. Here is a quick overview of the systems introduced in Fortnite’s Valentine event in 2026:

Fortnite Love and Legends Rewards

The easiest way to get rewards during Love and Legends comes from the Sweet Streak login system. You simply need to log in on ten different days during the event window to get a seasonal level up. The days do not need to be consecutive, which makes it more relaxed. Collecting Candy hearts dropping from all in-game chests is another way to get XP and an event-exclusive back bling. The Ice King Event and OG Ice Storm Throwback
One of the most talked-about announced parts of Love and Legends is the return of the Ice King. Midway through the roadmap, Fortnite introduces a nostalgic OG event inspired by the classic Ice Storm storyline. Moreover, we’ll get a long-awaited and highly requested Fortnite Love and Legend skin - Ice King. Moreover, he’ll somehow cross over to the Chapter 7 storyline and will help Dark Voyager in his fight with the Seven.
The Return of The Seven and Story Progression
Later in the event, Love and Legends shifts its focus toward the ongoing Fortnite storyline with the return of The Seven. This event phase connects this seasonal celebration to the larger narrative unfolding across the chapter.
This part of the event adds new story concerning the Zero Point and Dark Voyager and map changes that hint at the content in Season 2. You may notice new dialogue, visual cues on the island, or subtle changes in NPC behavior. For players who enjoy lore, this section of the roadmap should be very interesting. We’ve not seen The Seven as involved in the storylines in quite a long time.
Love and Legends K-Pop Demon Hunters Crossover

Another unique aspect of this year’s Love and Legends event is the inclusion of an entire batch of K-Pop Demon Hunters-themed shop cosmetics and Mythic items. We’ll get a golden-themed set of three Huntresses and an all-new Jinu skin kitted with two styles - casual and demonic. As in-game loot, you will find several familiar items:
-
Rumi’s Empowered Sword
-
Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon
-
Zoey’s Golden Bubble Shield
-
Tiger’s Teleporting Mask
You can find these anywhere - from ground to rare chests and vendors’ merchandise. Demon hunters will also be roaming the map - Golden Mira and Zoey will be hireable, and Rumi will be selling her empowered sword.
Love and Legends Unvaulted Gear
As part of the event, we’re also getting a loot pool shake-up. Items are mostly Valentine’s Day-related, with some exceptions - most guns are just regular mythics and exotics. Most notable examples of Love and Legends unvaulted gear are:
-
Cupid’s Crossbow
-
Shockwave Grenades
-
MK-Seven Assault Rifle
-
Wings of Icarus
The Cupid’s Crossbow fits the event theme perfectly, and Wings of Icarus are making their spectacular return after being vaulted for almost two years.
The Fastest Way to Finish Fortnite Event Quests
Most of the rewards are time-gated, so there’s no going around just consistently playing the game over the event’s duration. Candy Heart quests are different - here are the principles making up the fastest way to finish Fortnite event quests:
-
Prioritize high-loot landing spots. The more chests you open, the more hearts you collect
-
Play team-based modes - you’ll open more chests as a team and hearts are pickable by everyone in the party
-
Look out for supply drops - they seem to have elevated Heart drop chances
-
Obvious one - use mobility items to rotate between loot spots quickly
Try not to procrastinate with completing your quests; it’s easier to complete them little by little rather than rush them all in one day.
