We’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and now it’s official! After multiple delays, GTA 6 is coming on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles first. -
GTA 6 Standard Edition - $79.99 Price
-
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition - $99.99 Price
The Standard Edition of GTA 6 will only include the base game, and if you pre-order before the release, you will also get the Vintage Vice City Pre-Order Bonus. It is also worth mentioning that digital pre-order will give a free month of GTA+ subscription. This list looks impressive. I’m pretty sure neither GTA 5 nor RDR2 had such a rich list of bonus content for Ultimate Edition. But I must say, the Atomic blimp as a pre-order bonus for GTA 5 was iconic. Let’s get back to GTA 6. Rockstar on their website also confirmed that there will be no disc version of GTA 6 at launch. The physical version will contain a download code inside the box. Pre-loading for GTA 6 will begin on November 12.

GTA 6 Businesses behind paywalled Ultimate Edition
It has already been confirmed that some customization options in GTA 6 stores like Sara's Unisex Hair Salon, Stock 305 Clothing, and Electric Fang Tattoo Shop will be locked behind the Ultimate Edition. The way Rockstar described it on their official website had many players confused about whether the whole business is locked behind the more expensive edition of GTA 6. Particularly, the “Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition” line sparked controversy online. It seems like Rockstar really locked 5 stores in single-player behind the Ultimate Edition. I guess no cool hairstyles, clothes, makeup, and nails for Lucia will be available for owners of the Standard Edition.
Where GTA 6 Will Take Place

GTA 6 will take place in the present-day Vice City and the State of Leonida. Both Vice City and State of Leonida are based on real-life Miami and Florida. Also, it is rumored that we will be able to visit the State of Gloriana in some way. State of Gloriana is based on the real-world state of Georgia. With the power of current-gen hardware as well as unlimited time and budget, Rockstar has, I’m sure, it will be the most detailed open world game to date.

Who are the Main Characters in GTA 6

GTA 6 will feature two playable main characters - Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Just like in GTA 5, we’ll be able to switch characters almost at any point in GTA 6, except for important story moments. We already had a good look at both of the characters and know a lot about their backstories. For example, Lucia is of Hispanic descent and lived in Liberty City with her family before the game’s events (maybe we will even see a present-day Liberty City at some point). Jason is the second protagonist in GTA 6. He grew up around criminals, tried to move away from that life by joining the Army, but still ended up back in the same kind of life he was trying to escape. But the GTA 6 cast is not limited to only two main protagonists alone. We will see a huge and diverse cast of charismatic (and not) characters throughout the game’s story, like Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Raul Bautista, and more. Everything We Know About GTA 6 Gameplay

With each GTA entry, Rockstar has been perfecting their open-world action adventure formula, and with GTA 6, they’re giving their best. Just like always, we have a huge open world to explore, with a big selection of vehicles you can drive and guns you can shoot. It was also confirmed that GTA 6 will feature weapons lockers and the ability to store stolen goods for fencing. It seems like we won’t be able to store the endless amount of weapons in the character’s pockets. We will have to store it and take the ones we need one after another. According to rumors, the car physics will also be much more realistic than what we saw in GTA 5. One thing I can say for sure is that we will see the most detailed and immersive open-world game ever created. Also, this is my personal speculation, but we will see more roleplay elements since Rockstar acquired FiveM and works closely with the NoPixel RP team. But let’s talk about this in the next topic.
Everything we Know About GTA 6 Online and GTA ROME

We don’t know much about GTA 6 Online yet. The only thing Rockstar confirmed is that on the launch, GTA 6 will only feature single-player mode. And it’s no surprise, because GTA 5 Online, as well as RDO, also launched after initial release. What’s more interesting is the lack of any information about GTA 6 Online. Some time ago, Rockstar acquired FiveM - the popular multiplayer modification framework for GTA 5 that allows to create and play customized servers. Roleplay servers like NoPixel are the most popular ones. And not only does Rockstar now own FiveM, but works closely with the NoPixel team. For example, NoPixel RP V already appeared in the code of Rockstar Launcher, suggesting it will be featured separately from FiveM directly in the official launcher itself. It all leads to the rumors of Rockstar and NoPixel working on something that is called GTA ROME - the native modding and multiplayer platform. It will allow to integrate custom roleplay (RP) and user-generated content directly into GTA 6, evolving the game from a standard title into an expansive creator ecosystem. We can see something similar in Roblox, but in a more simplified and stylized way. But once again, it’s all rumours for now, so we have to wait and see!
With that, let’s wrap up this Everything we know about GTA 6 overview. We’re getting closer to the release, and more info starts to surface online. It’s hard to catch up with all of this, but I hope this guide will help you find all new information about GTA 6. Thanks for checking it out, and see you on my blog next time!
