Warzone Avalon Map Guide TL;DR
-
Avalon is an extended battle royale version of the map used in Endgame, with 21 major POIs spread across five distinct zones.
-
The Northwest is a quieter region with spots like Golf Club, Residences, Trinity Stadium, Casino, and High Town.
-
The Northeast is more of an open terrain style region with Winery, Resorts, Excavation Site, and Colosseum being the major POIs.
-
The Southwest Coast is better for a safer style of play, with Coastal Security, Firing Range, Fort, and Listening Post.
-
South Central is one of the busiest areas on the map, with Low Town, Heliport, Pier District, and Chop Shop being the hot spots.

Avalon Zone 1: Northwest

The Northwest is the quieter and more open space type zone than the others. The theme of the place is all kinds of leisure facilities - you’ll find a Golf Club, Casino, and Stadium. There will also be the battle royale classics in the form of small town buildings filled with guns to the brim - namely, Residences and Mansions. It’s the part of the map that I’m always excited to drop in - the environments are vibrant, and every fight feels like a movie scene.
Golf Club is the calmest major POI in the zone. The hillside layout, tree cover, and clubhouse give you time to loot without feeling trapped, and the position naturally pulls you towards going to Trinity Stadium, Casino, or Residences. I’d recommend it as a strong starter area for players who want to gear up without being too contested. Don’t get caught in the open, though, and bring something capable of covering longer shooting ranges.
Residences is one of the safest and most practical drops on the whole map. Lots of buildings for your team to cover and get out fully kitted out relatively safely. It is easy to split for loot, regroup, and rotate by road toward the Casino or the Winery. I prefer this spot to other alternatives in this part of the map due to how easy it is to loot up and reposition to the zone, and I'm more of a CQC combat player, so this spot is perfect for me.
Trinity Stadium is the hottest point of the zone. The multilevel interior equals lots of loot, and long hallways, stands, and roof ascenders turn it into a packed combat maze. Marine Villas, just beside it, is much more forgiving and works as a Plan-B version of the same opening route.
Casino and High Town are the pressure points of the Northwest. Both will attract squads every game, and both are packed with loot. They’re also situated kind of in the middle of the map, so it’s easy to rotate out off towards the circle. This is a great landing spot for aggressive squads, just make sure to not linger here for too long - you’re still cut off from the rest of the map by the river.
Avalon Zone 2: Northeast

Winery is a cool one - squads will be constantly fighting for control of the building, since it provides a high ground from which you can control the large area of the map. The land is flat, the hills are small, and the vineyards do not give you any hard cover, so movement matters a lot. Use wines and scattered shacks to keep yourself alive. This portion of the map screams Italy and Rome, and you can’t tell me that’s not the coolest POI theme ever.
Resorts are one of the more highly contested POIs on Avalon. The resort itself is huge, the penthouse is accessible through the elevator ascender, and the rooftop lets you wingsuit into several different directions depending on how your zone looks. That alone makes it valuable, but the nearby Police Station and Service Station turn it into a strong looting cluster. It’s positioned at the center of the map, so be prepared to fight off several squads every time you land here.
Excavation Site is all about trenches, crumbled walls, and trying to get higher elevation than your opponents. It also gives you one of the best high-point wingsuit exits in the zone, which is a major advantage that lets you reposition and either engage the enemies or escape the fight.
The Colosseum is the high-risk centerpiece of the Northeast and a spot I’d recommend to every hot drop enjoyer. The arena floor is sunken, enclosed, and ringed with ascenders and multiple openings, while the underground VIP area gives it even more ways to get messy. The fights there are intense; get ready to get 3rd partied. Staying there too long is not ideal - loot up quickly, reposition towards the zone using one of the many new traversal options. Avalon Zone 3: Southwest Coast

The Southwest Coast is the least chaotic part of Avalon, but it still gets contested by other players. Coastal Security, Firing Range, Fort, and Listening Post all sound like places you should visit right away when it comes to looting up in a battle royale.
Coastal Security is the safest drop in the region. The lighthouse gives the area a strong vantage point, and the broken layout across islets and sandy beds makes it easy to snipe lost players. You clear it island by island, then decide whether to rotate inland or cross the water.
Firing Range is the hotspot of the Southwest Coast. The bunkers, radar array, and central dining hall these places are exactly where you’d head out to find some weapons. This part of map is convoluted and rewards players who know every angle and every escape route. The nearby Military Outpost makes the whole area even stronger, clustering two loot spots together.
Fort and Listening Post feel like classic Verdansk locations. Fort gives you parapets, towers, and a large interior space, so you can pressure enemies from above before pushing in. Listening Post is built around low rolling terrain, and a fortified tower with a zipline toward Firing Range or the exterior of Fort. These are strong control spots for squads that want to chip teams down and rotate late, shooting enemies in the backs.
Avalon Zone 4: South Central

South Central is where Avalon will get loud. Low Town, Pier District, Heliport, and Chop Shop sit close enough together in the center of the map - classic Battle Royale map design with a stacked town layout in the middle. I think we all lose our heads sometimes and just hot drop with complete disregard for rating points.
Low Town is one of the best POIs on the map, movement-wise. The rooftops connect through ascenders and ziplines, the lower docks give you fast water access, and tight winding roads through the center keep every angle dangerous. It supports both close-range pressure and rooftop-oriented playstyle, which makes it one of Avalon’s most complete combat spaces.
Heliport is all about the helipads, large roadside buildings, and rooftop control. Substation, Police Station, and nearby Art Warehouse make this feel like a full combat district. The Art Warehouse is especially important because its loot stays relevant all match long, both for early gear and for redeploy pressure. Heliport is one of the best places on Avalon if you want insane sniper sightlines.
Chop Shop is a great connector POI. The cove, garages, storage units, and rising terrain make it easy to loot, then branch west to Listening Post, east to Old Arsenal, or upward toward the Communication Tower. That tower is the tallest point on the map, and the whole area becomes much more interesting game strategy-wise once you factor in the scouting value it gives.
Avalon Zone 5: East and Southeast
The East and Southeast blend two different map identities. Cliff Town is more vertical, old, and packed with ambush angles. Water Treatment, Car Factory, and Old Arsenal are flatter, more industrial, and easier to read at a glance; they look like classic Warzone locations.
Cliff Town is one of Avalon’s standout POIs. The narrow streets, clustered rooftops, bell tower, and underground cave system give it an incredible amount of depth. You can snipe from above, push house to house, or disappear into the caves and escape into the water below. This is clearly a trafficking den, and I’m all in for this theme.
Water Treatment features silos, tanks, pipes, and low warehouses that keep most of the fight grounded, and leveled roof heights that creates a leveled field of sorts The underwater pipe route is one of the best stealth entries on the map, and the aqueduct beside the POI is useful both for fast rotations and for cutting sightlines when snipers start taking over the area.
Car Factory is one of the best aggressive drops in the east. The assembly room, showroom, rooftops, white silos, Gas Station, and Landscaping Center all provide moderate but stable amounts of mostly uncontested loot boxes. I think this POI is perfect for squads that want to win one fight max, loot up safely, and play off zone.
Best Landing Spots on Avalon
Not all POIs are built the same, and there are several that stand out in one aspect or another.
Best Safe Landing Spots
If you want to loot up in peace, these are the safest places to land:
-
Residences
-
Marine Villas
-
Winery
-
Fire Station
-
Ruins Overlook
-
Recycling Center
Residences is one of the most reliable drops on the map because it gives you plenty of space to loot, and has easy rotation routes into nearby areas. Marine Villas is another viable option if you want a quieter start on the edge of the map.
Winery works well for squads that want a slower opening and enough room to settle in before taking a fight. Fire Stationm Ruins Overlook, and Recycling Center are good for the same reasons.
Best Balanced Landing Spots
Some POIs sit right in the middle in terms of how contested they are. They can be completely quiet one game or turned up the other.
-
Golf Club
-
Resorts
-
Heliport
-
Chop Shop
-
Old Arsenal
Golf Club is a good balanced drop because it gives you a relaxed opening while still putting you close to several active areas. Resorts is one of the best all-around POIs on Avalon since it offers strong loot, good positioning, and clean routes out to play off zone if the fight gets messy. Other locations in the list are good because they fit the same criteria.
Best Aggressive Hot Drops
If your squad wants to force early fights, these are the drops worth learning:
-
High Town
-
Trinity Stadium
-
Colosseum
-
Low Town
-
Firing Range
-
Cliff Town
-
Car Factory
High Town is one of the best places to land if you want to get into action straight away. Trinity Stadium is built for nonstop interior fights and rewards teams that communicate well. The Colosseum is a place created for fighting, which makes it a great hot drop for confident squads.
