After all the changes made to the Coins acquisition in this game, there is no single method that works equally well for every player. Someone reaching high Rivals divisions can earn more by playing than a beginner trying to trade up. Here are all the working ways to make coins in FC 27:

Play Rivals, Champions, and Squad Battles
Playing matches is no longer the slow source of pocket change. According to the official FC 27 launch update, Rivals and Champions matches can now award you several times more Coins than the roughly 500–600 earned in FC 26. Squad Battles also received an increase.
Eligible matches additionally award between 15 and 100 Season Points, up to 850 per day - progressing the Season Pass unlocks more packs, players, and resources, and tradeable rewards can then be sold.
Division Rivals
Rivals get you match income alongside the weekly rewards - higher divisions offer a lot more coins, so trying to promote higher is now even more impactful than it was in FC 26. Still, a slightly lower division where you easily complete weekly requirements can be more productive than losing lots of matches against stronger players in better leagues.
FUT Champions
The Finals retain the 15-match structure, with each rank providing direct Coins and Champions Tokens. Those Tokens can be exchanged for selectable rewards, some of which are coins. Even an average finish rewards can combine match income, rank rewards, Tokens, and tradeable items. Squad Battles now provides Champions Qualification Points as well, so offline players can progress toward entry. If you want to get more info about how FUT Champions work this year, I’ve got a whole dedicated guide on it.
Squad Battles
Squad Battles rewards are much smaller than FUT’s, but they’re easier to get. You can choose a comfortable difficulty and collect lots of different source rewards at the same time without sweating.
Sell Your Tradeable Rewards
Compared to the 26, FC 27 awards more rewards via Coins and tradable packs. That makes basic Club management more important than ever before, since packs are now so much more useful. Make sure to check every tradable item before quick-selling it - even the manager cards and popular Chemistry Styles can also be worth more than their quick-sell value suggests. Selling is simple:
-
Compare the lowest current Buy Now price.
-
List slightly above the cheapest instant sale.
-
Relist unsold items several times.
-
Store items that have no demand.
-
Recheck stored items after new SBCs arrive.
Do not fill the Transfer List with items that never sell - if an item is not being purchased, just storing or quick-selling it creates space for better trades.
FC 27 Transfer Market Trading
Don’t overcomplicate your trading - pick one method that suits your budget, learn its prices, and repeat it until the margins stop appearing. Here are the most reliable options:
|
Method |
How It Works |
Best Time For It |
|---|---|---|
|
Mass bidding |
Bid below the lowest Buy Now price and relist for a small profit. |
During rewards distributions and heavy pack supply periods |
|
Reward-supply buying |
Buy shortlisted cards while reward packs flood the Market, then sell after supply settles. |
Rivals, Champions, and Squad Battles rewards |
|
SBC trading |
Buy the required ratings, leagues, or nations before demand rises. |
Before popular Player and Upgrade SBCs |
|
Meta-player flipping |
Trade usable players with strong Pace, PlayStyles, positions, and squad links. |
During promotions and before Champions |
|
Consumable trading |
Buy popular Chemistry Styles cheaply and relist during active playing hours. |
Quiet hours into evenings or weekends |
Mass bidding is the beginner-friendly starting point because losses are relatively small.
|
Example Trade |
Coins |
|---|---|
|
Purchase through bidding |
900 |
|
Sale through Buy Now |
1,200 |
|
Transfer Market tax |
60 |
|
Coins received |
1,140 |
|
Net profit |
240 |
A single 240-Coin profit looks insignificant, but doing it 20 times gets you an easy 4,800 Coins.
Use the Bronze Pack Method
The Bronze Pack Method involves opening the cheapest Bronze pack available for Coins and selling enough contents to recover more than the pack cost. It works best when you get Bronze players that are required by different Foundation SBCs, Objectives, etc. What you have to do is, after opening a pack:
-
Compare every player’s market price.
-
List players tied to active SBC requirements.
-
Check managers, kits, badges, and consumables.
-
Store cards that could become useful later.
-
Quick-sell only items with no present or likely demand.
It’s important to understand that BPM is not guaranteed profit from every pack. You can get several packs with bad drops in a row, and unsold items temporarily lock value inside your Club. Its advantage is that the individual losses are small while occasional valuable cards can cover several packs, and I think it’s simply fun to rip some packs and maybe even get the value off of it.
Complete SBCs
It’s counterintuitive, but a valuable-looking SBC can still be a terrible deal. If the reward contains a 25,000-Coin pack but the required cards cost 35,000 Coins, you are already losing value. An untradeable reward makes that calculation even less appealing.
Streamlined SBCs are pretty simple - you just gradually feed eligible cards into the challenge until you reach its target score. Duplicate cards count as well, so they finally have somewhere useful to go. Obviously, it’s always best to get rid of untradeables and duplicates that way.
Puzzle and Foundation SBCs offer the best early-cycle returns. Upgrade SBCs are useful for clearing untradeable duplicates, but I would never think of them as dependable Coin makers. Most are resource sinks with a chance of producing something useful.
Use Objectives, Live Events, and the FUT Gallery
Objectives are a decent source of Coins when several can be completed at the same time. Before starting a match, check your weeklies, Evolutions, milestones, and Season tasks - one Squad Battles game can advance four different objectives at once and, in the end, get you some juicy rewards.
Live Events are worth checking - they offer decent rewards without requiring an expensive squad. I might even buy event-specific players when the reward covers that extra cost.
The FUT Gallery is another source of free rewards - the right cards contribute toward themed Sets, and you get your freebies. Still, I would not buy overpriced cards just to improve a Set grade - Gallery rewards should usually come from cards you collect naturally. So there’s a fair deal of luck involved.
Best Daily FC 27 Coin Routine
To steadily get Coins, you don’t need to sit at the Transfer Market all day. A short routine keeps the Club progressing without turning Ultimate Team into a second job.
-
Claim completed Objectives and Season rewards.
-
Check new SBCs for spikes in item demand.
-
List valuable cards and tradable duplicates.
-
Play Rivals, Champions, or Squad Battles.
-
Spend 15–20 minutes bidding during high-supply periods.
-
Relist unsold items before leaving the game.
-
Keep Coins available for the next content release.
The Companion App makes price checks and relisting easier away from the console. New accounts may need to complete the Graduated Access Objective Groups before gaining full market access.
